QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  1. Must have good communication skills.
  2. Must have physical capability to lift (up to 75 lbs.), stoop, bend, and move quickly to perform all physical demands.
  3. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
  4. Must be able to work well with others.
  5. Must be able to physically move quickly from one machine to another.
  6. Must exhibit acceptable attendance.
  7. Must be able to fill out all necessary information either in written form or electronic such as time cards, quality records, etc.
  8. Must have knowledge of the RF Gun and the various screens associated with RF Scanning.
  9. Must be able to pick up and carry a minimum of 75 pounds up to 20 feet.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES:

 

The primary duties of the employee are (but are not limited to) the following:

 

  1. Operate VRC Machines efficiently.
  2. Responsible for production and quality on all VRC Machines under worker’s operation or in worker’s group.
  3. Visually inspect every unit for non-conforming product such as missing clips and misapplied, loose, or missing coils.
  4. Hang units in proper location within proper tag location.
  5. Initial tag identification tags.
  6. Must be able to identify and load proper clips on VRC and hand stations.
  7. Must be able to clear all jams from VRC and hand stations.
  8. Assist Maintenance personnel in identifying mechanical/ electrical problems that may hinder performance, effect quality, or reduce life of the equipment.
  9. Must clip any unit at the request of team leader.
  10. Conform to all Quality/ Safety requirements and procedures.
  11. Participate in training programs.
  12. Follow all written procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans.
  13. Keep a clean and orderly workplace.
  14. Participate in the Continuous Quality Improvement Process.
  15. Identify, record, and communicate any problems relating to product, process, and the quality system.
  16. Stop the production of nonconformities related to product, process, and the system.
  17. Initiate action by recommending or providing solutions.
  18. Verify any action that prevents nonconformities is working.
  19. Follow up, as necessary.
  20. Participate in Total Productive Manufacturing Process and 6S Processes.
  21. Perform other duties assigned by team leader.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

You must be able to perform these duties on or about: 20 DAYS

 

  1. Must be able to meet physical demands of the job.
  2. Must be able to satisfactorily complete new operator training such as paperwork or electronic, tag identification, loading of clips, clearing jams, proper handling procedures, gun safety, and machine operation.
  3. Operate machine efficiently.
  4. Notify team leader of any quality and safety problems.

 

You must be able to perform these duties on or about: 30 DAYS

 

  1. Able to perform all 20-day requirements.
  2. Operate the VRC Machines in your group at daily minimum production levels.
  3. Operate VRC and hand station efficiently.
  4. Must be able to communicate with operators of any quality problems or non-conforming products that are not within specifications.
  5. Complete EOJT training.

 

Shift: B Shift

Hours: 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Schedule: Monday through Thursday
