Role Description
Role Title: Applications Engineering Manager - Asia Pacific

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Promote company vision/mission, values, and EHS to reporting teams and acknowledge team members evidencing
Support
- Effective management of cost, timing, and product performance for engineering core RASIC functions to achieve
the business operating objectives established for the year
- Identify and communicate engineering best practices processes/methods and tools for evaluation of global
engineering process improvements.
- Cascade approved changes to global methods to the engineering organization
- Create career development paths for engineering teams with focus on succession planning for N-4/5/6 levels within
the engineering organization
- Integrate engineering efforts with sales and TAM to identify product directions in support of the company strategic
business growth and product strategies.
- Provide product mentorship to staff to develop robust engineering practices and team development.
Educational requirements, Certifications:
- University Engineering Degree - Preferably in the appropriate engineering field
Experience:
- 5 - 10 years direct leadership and development of technical staff
- Direct customer contact and product delivery to automotive customers within a cross functional team
environment
- Knowledge of automotive customer lauch processes (APQP, Phase gate, DFMEA, )
- Must be familiar with technical information received such as specifications, test methods, processes, etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Fluent English
- Engineering skills related to the field of engineering application
- People Management and organizational behavior understanding
- Good communication with NA and EU L&P employees and customers.
- Positive attitude and good technical (motor) skills
- Strong focus on team development, team organization and task priority setting within the team.
