• Major Actions and Support Actions

1.  Develop engineered product solutions to meet internal requirements or customer needs by creative use of core part designs and technologies.
2.  Lead the various engineering efforts to design, prototype and validate product design solutions  in support of customer and internal core team timing requirements.
3.  Maintain regular contact with customers on technical issues and lead efforts to ensure understanding of their needs and resulting delivery of commitments from LPA. 
4.  Active particpation on program core teams with proactive presentation of defined engineering deliverables defined in the APD and CPD Engineering processes
5.  Apply suitable engineering tools for the design analysis of assigned projects
6. Establish and maintain adequate records of technical information, process methods / standards, design and program details, and records to support/procure reliable patent actions

• Educational requirements, Certifications:
  University level Bachelor of Engineering degree or validated equivalent.
• Experience:
  1. preferred 3 years experience in an automotive product design role
  2. related experience Bill of Material creation and part design execution
