The Procurement function supports the organization by sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost‑effective, reliable supply to meet business needs. Procurement partners closely with operations, engineering, finance, and suppliers to support efficiency, quality, and continuity.

As a Procurement Intern, you will support day‑to‑day procurement activities while gaining practical experience in sourcing, supplier coordination, and purchasing processes. This role is designed to help build a pipeline of young talent by providing learning opportunities, mentorship, and real‑world experience within a collaborative procurement environment.

 

This position is ideal for students interested in procurement, supply chain management, or business operations who want to understand how purchasing decisions support overall business success.

 

So, what will you be doing as a Procurement Intern?

  • Procurement Support – Assist the procurement team with daily activities such as purchase order support, data entry, and documentation.
  • Supplier Coordination – Help support communication with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and basic inquiries.
  • Data & Reporting – Assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing procurement and spend data to support reporting and decision‑making.
  • Process Support & Documentation – Help maintain procurement records, procedures, and tracking tools.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work with operations, engineering, finance, and supply chain teams to support purchasing needs.
  • Process Improvement – Support initiatives focused on improving procurement efficiency, standardization, or cost visibility.
  • Learning & Development – Gain exposure to procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and supplier management.
  • Employer Branding & Talent Pipeline Support – Act as an ambassador for the internship program by providing feedback and participating in engagement or outreach activities as needed.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field.
  • Interest in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute in a professional environment.

 

Things we consider a plus:

  • Coursework or exposure to procurement or supply chain concepts.
  • Familiarity with Excel or basic data analysis tools.
  • Experience with administrative, customer service, or operational roles.
  • Interest in a long‑term career in procurement or supply chain management.
