Hanes Companies, a division of Leggett & Platt (Member of S&P 500), is seeking a Product Manager.
This supply chain focused position is a great opportunity for someone to learn our business and match their skill set with career growth opportunities in mind. You will work directly with key management personnel to learn the business and will make business decisions that will influence the company’s overall performance. Domestic and international travel will be required to help build relationships and drive strategic growth.
Objectives:
- Optimize working capital strategy
- Establish and execute market and product strategies
- Develop key supplier and customer relationships
- Leverage negotiating, marketing and selling skill sets
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of product line health—including strategy, financial performance, inventory management, and quality assurance.
- Lead margin and pricing discipline initiatives to ensure sustained profitability and alignment with market dynamics.
- Manage global vendor relationships and negotiations to optimize supply chain reliability and cost efficiency.
- Present biannual product strategy updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders, highlighting performance, market opportunities, and competitive analysis.
- Monitor and adjust order volume and production schedules to align with business forecasts, capacity constraints, and strategic goals.
- Navigate macroeconomic challenges, evaluate their impact on the business, and adapt as necessary
- Lead product development and other initiatives with domestic and global partners
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field of study is required. Candidates must have strong analytical skills and be able to effectively communicate. Competitive salary and benefits offered: health/dental/vision insurance, 401-K, and discounted stock program.
