JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Customer Service Representative
REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager
Hanes Geo Components (HGC) in Winston Salem, NC a division of Leggett & Platt Inc., is seeking a Customer Service Representative. HGC is the leading industrial distributor of erosion control and soil stabilization products used in the construction industry.
- Accurately enter customer orders that are received on the telephone or electronically
- Communicate with customers regarding any challenges to their order such as logistics, inventory adjustments etc.
- Provide professional administrative support for the location
- Maintain and distribute product literature
The ideal candidate must have exceptional communication skills (verbal & written), accurate order entry skills, and excellent organization skills. This position will interact directly with customers on the phone and will be responsible for assisting sales and warehouse staff with general administrative duties. Applicants must have 2-5 years of customer service experience.
