We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) within our Customer Service team to help support our Automotive business. As a Logistics Coordinator (m/f/d) you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our manufacturing operation. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by leading efficient logistics operations, improving material handling processes, and creating a safe, high-performing environment that supports sustainable business growth. The team you will be working with is a dedicated operations team that collaborates closely across Logistics, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, and Quality to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Ensure the smooth and efficient reception, storage, and dispatch of all goods entering and leaving the facility
- Lead, coach, and develop assigned team members to consistently achieve operational targets and performance objectives
- Maintain accurate process execution and compliance within the ERP and warehouse management systems
- Drive inventory accuracy across Finished Goods (FG), Raw Materials (RM), and Work In Progress (WIP) through effective stock control and cycle counting processes
- Coordinate and ensure uninterrupted material supply to manufacturing operations, including raw materials, packaging, and production consumables
- Coordination and follow up of waste flow management
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles and tools
- Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards while striving for zero accidents
- Support business continuity by fulfilling assigned deputy and back-up responsibilities as required
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A High School or College degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of inventory management and material flow processes
- Experience working with MS Office, ERP and inventory management systems
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills as well as hands-on mentality and decision-making ability
- Fluent Dutch and French language skills, English language skills are a plus
