We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) within our branch leadership team to help support our Automotive business in Berndorf. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) you’ll take over a high-visibility role where you'll shape customer relationships, drive service performance and lead key supply chain functions across customer service, logistics, inventory management and production planning. As the voice of the customer within the branch, you'll play a critical role in ensuring customer needs are understood, anticipated and delivered. You'll build trusted partnerships with key customers, collaborate across multiple functions and drive operational performance to achieve outstanding results.

 

Additionally, you’ll:

  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key customers, acting as their primary point of contact
  • Proactively manage changing customer demand and ensure a best-in-class service experience
  • Lead the resolution of order, delivery and service-related challenges with a customer-first mindset
  • Oversee production planning, warehouse operations and inventory management activities
  • Drive inbound and outbound logistics performance to support operational efficiency
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and consistently achieve on-time delivery targets
  • Manage and optimise material flow from supplier through to customer shipment
  • Lead, coach and develop your team, creating a culture of continuous learning and succession planning
  • Champion a safe, engaged and high-performing workplace culture

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience within a customer service, supply chain, manufacturing or operations environment, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making
  • A hands-on approach, perseverance, and composure even during intense periods
  • Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools, including 5S, Kanban, Synchronous material flow, Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and related frameworks
  • Fluent German and English language skills

For this position, we offer a minimum salary in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for the metalworking industry based on eligible prior service and relevant professional experience.
