  1. SUMMARY:  It is the Employee’s responsibility to comply with all company rules of conduct.  These rules of

conduct are outlined in the form of handbooks, safety regulations, and work instructions.  In addition, every

Employee is responsible for the timeliness, quality, and conformance of their output.  In accordance with this, the

Employee must understand and comply with the requirements of the L&P 9000 Quality Management System and

the position-related processes and procedures contained therein.

 

  1. RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:  

 

2.1   Initiate action to prevent occurrences of any non-conformities related to product, process or the system;

2.2   Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system;

2.3   Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels;

2.4   Verify the implementation of solutions;

    1. Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or

               unsatisfactory condition is corrected.

 

  1. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:  Part Sales Representatives are expected to use all resources available to provide

parts support to the customer.  To ensure customer satisfaction at all times, the Representative facilitates good

relations and future machine sales and achieves sales objectives set by management.

 

  1. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  Includes the following, however, other duties and/or

responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

 

    1.  Provide support to customers using past experience and accumulated knowledge to correctly identify parts

 and cross check information with available resources to ensure a high level of accuracy of  parts shipped for

 all Gribetz International equipment.

       4.2   Take orders from customers via the phone, fax, e-mail or service call form and process them in LPCS.

       4.3   Creating necessary documents as needed for shipping requirements.

       4.4   Perform periodic review of specific parts categories for costing errors.

       4.6   Prepare and process return authorizations for customer returns.

       4.7   Request credit approvals as needed from Corporate Credit.

       4.8   Provide order status and notifications of shipments to customer.

       4.9   Track shipments and obtain proofs of delivery as necessary.

       4.10 Expedite back orders and time sensitive parts requirements.

       4.11 Prepare quotations and correspondence to customers as needed for follow up.

       4.12 Coordinate and distribute all communications from customers to the various departments and companies

  within the GSG group.

       4.13 Identify, record, and communicate any problems relating to the product, process, and/or Quality System,

  and initiate actions by providing solutions, improvements, and/or recommendations.

       4.14 Always practice good housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area.
 

5.0  SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:  None

 

6.0  QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:  Computer skills required.  Previous customer service experience

desired.  Mechanical ability a plus but not essential.                                 

 

7.0  EDUCATION:  High school graduate or equivalent
