Senior Instructional Designer

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking a Senior Instructional Designer to join our Talent Development team! We are looking for a highly competent, detail-oriented candidate who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, strong interpersonal skills and training knowledge. As a self-starter, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to shape and execute the learning and development strategy for a key business process transformation.  This role requires excellent project management skills, strategic thinking, problem solving, and strong communication skills.

If you answered “Yes!” to even a handful of those questions, you might be our person! Here are the main requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Technical Writing, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, or Instructional Design Psychology
  • Experience using ADDIE, SAM, or Agile Design methodology
  • Experience using authoring tools; Captivate, Articulate, Vyond, and Camtasia
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles, curriculum design and virtual design
  • Knowledge of MS Office 365, Teams, Adobe Creative Cloud.
