We are looking for someone who is success driven, highly self-motivated, and strategic in their approach to building strong relationships and servicing long-term customers while researching, qualifying, and developing prospective customers. This person will be responsible for executing a sales strategy and reporting progress to management.

So, what will you be doing as a Territory Manager?

  • Driving aggressive territory growth by identifying, prospecting, and winning new business opportunities
  • Building and developing a strong pipeline of new accounts while expanding relationships within existing customers
  • Spending significant time in the field calling on prospects, uncovering opportunities, and closing business
  • Becoming a trusted advisor by providing product expertise, training, and solutions that help customers succeed
  • Representing the company and product portfolio at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
  • Collaborating with manufacturing and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Partnering with customer service to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction
  • Managing account pricing, negotiations, and profitability to drive sustainable growth
  • Resolving account-related challenges while maintaining strong customer relationships

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A passion for hunting, prospecting, and building new business from the ground up
  • High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in an outside sales or business development role
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in a business-related field, if no direct sales experience
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and closing skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage a sales territory, and consistently achieve growth objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed

Things we consider a plus:

  • Proven track record of generating and closing new business opportunities
  • Flooring industry experience and/or retail market experience
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Experience managing a territory and exceeding sales goals
  • A highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven mindset

Ideal Candidate: A true sales hunter who thrives on opening doors, creating opportunities, winning new accounts, and growing market share. This is not an account maintenance role; we're looking for someone who is energized by prospecting, building relationships, and driving revenue growth.
