So, what will you be doing as a Technical Analyst II, EDI?
- Lead and participate in EDI onboarding projects and tasks. Coordinate with team members to assign and complete onboarding tasks
- Interact with customers and vendors on projects for work assignment(s) and project administration
- Ensure timely delivery of requirements and design documents in line with project milestones
- Develop EDI translation maps with provided applications using customer specifications
- Work with and provide solutions to meet internal and external customer requirements
- Support end-users in the day-to-day application of the system by discussing and solving problems (problem resolution, running queries, providing first-line troubleshooting support, etc.)
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transaction processing across multiple system integrations and applications including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems
- Ensure EDI document transactions are processed in a reliable, accurate, and timely manner
- Identify and help resolve gaps in technology, processes, and resources
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field. Comparable experience will be considered
- 5+ years of experience in EDI technologies; In-depth understanding of architectures and technologies (translators, communication protocols, etc.) including EDI format standards (ANSI X12, UN/EDIFACT, VDA, XML, etc.)
- Experience with the following EDI documents: 850 / ORDERS, 855 / ORDRSP, 856 / DESADV, 810 / INVOIC, 846 / INVRPT, 860 / ORDRCHG, 830 / DELFOR, 862 / DELJIT
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Supply Chain (Manufacturing ERP)
- Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work independently or as a team member
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
Things we consider a plus:
- Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and IBM Sterling Commerce
- Experience with Staedean Connectivity Studio and EDI Studio for Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Functional experience with Cobol, C#, ASP.NET, JAVA, VB6 or SQL, & Microsoft Power Apps
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications including Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
