As a Sales Representative-Rod & Wire you will have the opportunity to drive sales growth within the Rod & Wire division with a strong understanding of the steel industry. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought.
So, what will you be doing as a Sales Representative-Rod & Wire?
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets.
- Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and profitability goals.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Pricing & Negotiation: Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- 3+ years of sales experience.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 50%.
Things we consider a plus:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Sales experience in steel, metal, or industrial products.
