As a Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to blend sales expertise, analytical skills, and a customer centric approach to grow our bedding business.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by driving sales growth, fostering strong customer relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our business unit.  The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. 

So, what will you be doing as a Sales Representative?

  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets within your assigned territory. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for partners, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales cycle and beyond. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and build long-term relationships.
  • Forecasting and Analysis: Accurately forecast sales ramp-up and ramp-down phases for new and existing programs, utilizing market data and customer insights. Provide regular feedback on sales performance, upcoming changes, and market trends.
  • Travel: This role requires approximately 40% travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct on-site product demonstrations.
  • Sales Training: Contribute to the development and delivery of sales training materials and programs for channel partners, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our products and the value proposition to a consumer.
  • Product Development Input: Collaborate with product development teams to provide valuable customer feedback and market insights, influencing the evolution of our product offerings to meet market demands.
  • Program Management Support: Work closely with program management teams to ensure seamless execution of customer projects, from initial sale through delivery and implementation.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales role, preferably within a bedding-focused industry or similar manufacturing supported environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer service best practices, and market analysis techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
