As a Procurement Analyst you will report directly to the Purchasing Operations Manager and MUST be located within Hungary or Central Europe. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of the company’s supplier programs.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by providing data analysis on a large-scale global environment to help identify and predict future commodity pricing trends.  The team you will be working with is analytical, and values building relationships with key stakeholders and other functional team members of the organization

So, what will you be doing as a(n) Procurement Analyst?

  • Collecting and analyzing appropriate data, including building data queries and visualization in Excel and Power BI
  • Managing all aspects of Data Quality
  • Spearheading exploratory analysis with large data sets covering various topics
  • Maintaining master data in various databases
  • Track and analyze key commodity price indexes identifying historical and projecting future trends. 
  • Prioritizing and navigating through an ambiguous environment for business use
  • Supporting implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Supporting needs both domestically and internationally

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of highly analytical work
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, lookup functions, pivot tables, conditional formatting, scripts)
  • Demonstrate up-to-date expertise and maintain continuous improvement mindset
  • Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work independently
  • Capable of initiating and monitoring projects with limited supervision
