We are looking for a strategic, customer-focused, and results-driven Eastern European Sales Director to join our Home Furniture business. This critical leadership role will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth and operational excellence across Poland, the Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), Ukraine, and other Eastern European markets.

Reporting to the Managing Director Sales Europe, you will play a key role in developing regional growth strategies, strengthening customer relationships, leading commercial initiatives, and delivering sustainable business results.

What You'll Do

As the Eastern European Sales Director, you will:

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Lead commercial activities across assigned territories, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Manage and develop strategic customer and distributor relationships to support long-term growth.
  • Drive new business development and market expansion initiatives throughout Eastern Europe.
  • Assume full responsibility for achieving sales, gross margin, and profitability targets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop local sales and technical support resources.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, business reviews, and performance analyses.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, customer service, finance, marketing, and product development teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • Oversee regional warehousing, logistics, inventory management, and product availability.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service management and responsiveness.
  • Coordinate technical support resources to meet customer and business requirements.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, technical, or related environment.
  • Demonstrated success in key account management and business development.
  • Experience managing commercial activities across multiple countries and cultures.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales growth, profitability, and margin objectives.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Experience working with distribution networks, logistics operations, and warehouse management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Language Requirements

  • Native or fluent professional proficiency in Polish (written and spoken).
  • Fluent professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to conduct negotiations, presentations, and business reviews in both Polish and English.
  • Additional language skills, particularly Ukrainian, German, or Russian, are considered a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical and forecasting capabilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and geographies.
  • Experience working within a matrixed, international organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business reporting tools.
  • Experience using QlikView, SuccessFactors, and CRM/reporting platforms is advantageous.

Travel Requirements

  • Ability to travel approximately 40-50% of the time throughout the assigned region.
