As an Advanced Product Quality Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work conjunctively with Compliance, Quality System and Specification managers to ensure full integration of new products and processes to our Quality System. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with cross functional teams including Sales, New Product Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Branch Management.

As an Advanced Product Quality Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work conjunctively with Compliance, Quality System and Specification managers to ensure full integration of new products and processes to our Quality System. So, what will you be doing as an Advanced Product Quality Specialist?

Utilize Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) methodology for new products, changes to existing products, and introduction of new processes and technologies.

Develop or maintain protocols for new material approvals, working in partnership with NPD, Testing, Procurement, and Manufacturing.

Work proactively with New Product Development to identify and address quality risks by using PFMEA and Strengthened Control Plans.

Provide data analysis for aligned Quality Specifications by having Full Beta Run involvement.

Lead and support Business Unit level quality projects from planning phase to completion
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Manufacturing or equivalent work experience

1 to 3 years in a Quality leadership role

Proven record on implementing systems and/or processes to make performance visible

Black Belt Certification by an accredited organization
-
Green Belt accreditation with a commitment to attain a Black Belt certification within the first year will be acceptable

Strong critical thinking skills
-
Ability to travel to corporate, manufacturing and customer locations as needed, approximately 30% travel

Excellent computer skills
