Validation Technician (m/f/d)

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Validation Technician (m/f/d) within our development team to help support our business.  Did you know we are the world’s leading designer and manufacturer of seating support and comfort systems for transportation manufacturers, as well as tier one and two suppliers within the automotive industry?  That’s right!  Our automotive products fall into four primary groups:  Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables.  If you join our team, your work will ensure people across the world have a little more comfort in their lives.

As a Validation Technician (m/f/d) you will execute work plans, using equipment and process methods for validation to meet the company's product validation needs to maximize the use of regional validation capabilities. You will also ensure work efforts are completed to schedules to meet product validation needs in support of timelines.

Additionally, you will:

• Support the European development team
• Perform system testing on electromechanical and pneumatic seat comfort products and their components
• Set up, execute, supervise, and document development and release tests in accordance with specifications, in close collaboration with the customer
• Analyze and evaluate measurement data and document results in detailed test reports
• Independently carry out root cause analyses for validation-related issues
• Contribute to the definition of test specifications and coordinate them with relevant project stakeholders

To be successful, you’ll need:

• Successfully completed training in mechatronics, as a technician, or comparable
• Initial professional experience in the validation of systems and components in the automotive industry
• Experience in test bench programming with LabVIEW or Siemens LOGO
• A practical, methodical, and reliable approach to work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in German and English
