We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an S&OP Manager within our SCM team to help support our Hydrolic business.  Over the last 45 years, PHC has built a reputation as a world-class hydraulic cylinder manufacturer through our superior quality control and innovation. As an S&OP Manager you will have the opportunity to supply status, reviewing the demand outlook, and helping to create the S&OP recommendations that is reviewed and approved by the Business, then drive execution of supply plan. 

Job Description:

  • Help secure end to end alignment through the effective communication
  • Regular review the supply base of both in-house and outsourcing and assess / identify constraints Mid Long run.
  • Propose and design Scenarios planning to help decisions making
  • Managing Phase In / Phase Out process execution from a planning perspective on dedicated part of the materials
  • Improve Production System/Supply Planning: Driver for improvements of the production planning and production control processes – Lean Management experience preferred
  • Manage End to End inventory performance to ensure the health inventory level and drive systematic approach to control slow moving inventory
  • Manage identification of revenue risks and opportunities, supporting the decision-making process for potential trade-offs, including allocation of capacity (in-house / outsource)
  • Being a focal point on status of supply, assurance of supplies, escalations, and allocation management, working closely with Sales teams, Purchase team, Production team and Logistics team as well as overseas stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement for owned key performance indicators such as On-Time Delivery, DIO, Slow moving inventory, Revenue realization, Order to Cash Lead time, Forecasting Accuracy, Production Attainment

 

Background

  • Bachelor degree
  • Proven experience in supply chain roles, preferably operational and functional track records.
  • Experienced working with cross cultural teams is a plus
  • Highly customer oriented
  • Supply planning experience, preferably within an environment recognized for S&OP maturity
  • High proficiency in Material Management – Demand / Supply Planning & S&OP a Must –– Manufacturing Planning a Must / experienced S&OP practitioner
  • Strong Analytical & continuous improvements Skills (problem solver) as well as good understanding of data analytics capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with various levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of SAP or equivalent planning tools a must
  • Strong people & organizational skills: Reliable; Change agent; People oriented; Approachable, Great team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in 1-to-1 situations and group settings
  • Ability to prioritize very well and maintain appropriate balance in a fast-paced, heavy-workload environment
  • Language skills: English and Mandarin are must, German is plus
  • Ability to influence and convince (Strategic), Proven strategic and operational thinking skills
