As a Quality Document and Data Control Leader you will have the opportunity to store, manage and track all Quality Management System documents as well as facilitate data streams to manage and improve the Quality function.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by leading the QMS Management Review process as well as lead and develop any Quality Data Clerks/Auditors assigned to the role.  The team you will be working with is collaborative and close knit, and values challenging work and diversity of thought. 

So, what will you be doing as a Quality Document and Data Control Leader?

  • Document Control 
  • Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 management system and document control requirements
  • QMS and Regulatory Compliance document control
  • Customer and compliance deviation documentation control 
  • Development of work instructions, visual aids, etc…as directed corporately or required locally.  
  • Support integrating Campus Document Control within the ECS Corporate Document Control System (Intelex)
  • Assist manufacturing sites as needed in document creation, revision and control. 
  • Document and support Customer Quality issues for customers and Supplier Quality issues for vendors; assist plant quality as needed.
  • Business Intelligence and Process Control
  • Process data collection and maintenance to support continuous improvement efforts. 
  • Voice Of Customer (VOC) data collection and report creation
  • Develop capabilities to access/review ERP (D365) system for customer/product requirements.
  • Audits 
  • Organize, manage and lead internal audits, corrective actions, and management reviews.
  • Customer Audit leadership or assistance as required. 
  • Third party audit review and leadership when required.  
  • Conduct product audits as required.
  • Cross-Functional Teams 
  • Ensures the promotion of awareness of customer and process documentation requirements throughout the regional sites. 
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.  

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 3-year previous work experience in a manufacturing setting with quality function emphasis.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous work experience managing a document control system.
  • Minimum of 1-year previous work experience within an ISO compliant management system.
  • High PC literacy to include MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Outlook.
  • Experience with file share systems like MS Teams, SharePoint, or Citrix ShareFile.

Things we consider a plus:

  • Associates degree in a Business or Science related field
  • Certificates within Quality or Continuous Improvement Disciplines (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
  • Prior role(s) demonstrating leadership with direct or indirect influencing.
  • Understanding of APQP and PPAP. Demonstrated proficiency documenting management of change withing these efforts.
  • Demonstrated efficiency of ISO9001:2015.
  • Certified ISO Lead Auditor (ASQ or equivalent)

Microsoft Dynamics 365; Quality Management System Portal- Intelex.
