- Apply advanced statistical techniques to interpret complex datasets, identifying patterns and insights to inform demand planning.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models using Python for statistical analysis, machine learning, or time-series forecasting (e.g., ARIMA, Prophet).
- Validate forecast accuracy through iterative analysis and refining models to improve predictive performance.
KPI Development & Tracking:
- Design and implement meaningful KPIs to measure demand planning accuracy, inventory turnover, capacity utilization, and other critical metrics.
- Create dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI to track KPIs and provide real-time insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Regularly report on performance metrics, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Data Integration & Tool Utilization:
- Extract, clean, and integrate data from disparate sources (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms, external market data) to support forecasting and planning.
- Leverage advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros) for data manipulation and reporting.
- Use Python for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics to streamline planning workflows.
Support Inventory & Capacity Planning:
- Aggregate and analyze inventory data, capacity plans, and storage utilization metrics to ensure alignment with demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to balance inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
- Monitor storage utilization trends to optimize warehouse space and inform capacity planning decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to incorporate qualitative inputs (e.g., promotions, product launches) into demand forecasts.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes through feedback loops and stakeholder engagement.

- Proven track record of building statistical models and analyzing complex datasets to drive business decisions.
- Experience with inventory management, capacity planning, or storage optimization is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., complex formulas, PivotTables, VBA/macros).
- Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and automation (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn).
- Expertise in PowerBI for creating interactive dashboards and visualizing KPIs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics365, SAP, Oracle) and data integration tools is a plus.
Analytical Skills:
