At L&P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interaction.

 

After our materials have gone through the necessary processes, we are left with high-performance finished goods that are ready to be incorporated into assemblies for our customers.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Systems Controller oversees the implementation and evolution of essential workflows within Leggett & Platt Aerospace. These workflows, primarily facilitated by Epicor ERP, along with tools from the MS Office suite and Docstar, ensure efficient, reliable, and repeatable operations across various functions – from sales order entry to purchasing, MRP, planning, scheduling, and invoicing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sharpen best practice use of ERP and associated workflows.

• Implement global strategy (BU Strategy owned by BU President) as to relates to business processes with functional and regional leaders.

• Manage migration of non-Epicor branches to Go-Live

• Supports and implementation of processes and procedures that contain an Epicor element.

• Developing systems and practices that improve efficiency through the business systems.

• Works closely with Branch Operations Managers to support Global and Regional initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong business acumen with proven proficiency in key workflows like MRP, AR, and AP. • Knowledge of Epicor structure and configuration; writing BAQ’s and developing dashboards.

• Excellent listening and analytical abilities.

• Goal-oriented

• Demonstrated capability to swiftly evaluate and contribute to the creation of solutions that effectively address key business priorities and requirements.

• Experienced in achieving outcomes through effective influence.

• A perceptive individual who can adeptly discern both spoken and unspoken cues, demonstrating keen ability to understand and respond to nuanced situations with agility.

• Proficient understanding of the advantages and limitations of systemic solutions.

• Strong skilled in Microsoft suite, specifically Excel.

• Skilled in programming with SQL, including iterative data recursion.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• Undergraduate degree in STEM discipline required; other disciplines considered with relevant work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum three years of professional experience in Epicor development is required.

• Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing is required
