Maintenance Technician - Millwright

Ontario or Inter-Provincial 426A/433A Millwright COQ. Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a Licensed Millwright.

So, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Technician - (Millwright)?


  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment under standardized procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment including the replacement and/or repair of machine components including cylinders, pumps, motors, spindles, fixtures, slides, valves, gears, switches, and bearings
  • Perform machining, welding, fabricating and hand finishing including grinding, and polishing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills related to troubleshooting equipment issues, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing many different types of automated equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and machine components.
  • Experience with PLC - Ladder Logic, robotics and automation is an asset.
  • Rigging and hoisting experience is preferred.
  • Experience with wire straightening/forming/bending, injection molding is an asset.
  • Experience with press stamping lines is an asset.
  • Interest in working in a multi-skilled position (mechanical and low voltage electrical)
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditions.
  • Passion for teamwork, ongoing learning, continuous improvement, and maintaining a respectful and safe environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members
  • Ability to work 3 rotating shifts.
