The Quality function ensures that products, processes, and systems meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Within Quality, Quality Systems support consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement through structured processes, documentation, and data‑driven practices.
This internship supports temporary Quality Systems projects and is designed to provide Engineering students with hands‑on exposure to quality frameworks and system‑based problem solving.
As a Quality Systems Intern, you will support short‑term and project‑based initiatives within the Quality function, focusing on quality system documentation, process support, and improvement activities. This role provides practical experience working with quality systems while applying engineering principles in a structured, real‑world environment.
This position is ideal for Engineering students interested in quality, manufacturing systems, or operational excellence who want exposure to how quality systems support engineering and production activities.
So, what will you be doing as a Quality Systems Intern?
- Quality Systems Project Support – Assist with temporary or project‑based initiatives related to quality systems, documentation, or system improvements.
- Documentation & Records Management – Support creation, review, and organization of quality system documents, procedures, and records.
- Process Mapping & Standardization – Help document current processes and support standardization efforts aligned with quality system requirements.
- Data Collection & Analysis – Assist in collecting and analyzing quality data to support system evaluations or improvement projects.
- Audit & Compliance Support – Provide support for internal audits, assessments, or compliance activities as needed.
- Engineering Collaboration – Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support quality‑related project needs.
- Continuous Improvement Support – Participate in improvement initiatives that strengthen quality system effectiveness.
- Additional duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in quality systems, process improvement, or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to analyze processes and document information clearly.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
Things we consider a plus:
- Coursework or exposure to quality systems, ISO standards, or continuous improvement.
- Experience with process documentation, audits, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, or document management tools.
- Interest in future roles in Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations.
