What will you be doing?

  • Manage total facility Continuious Improvement initiatives, provide coaching on lean tools, and drive projects through implementation to completion
  • Develop Operational Excellence annual plan with a focus on LAMPS (Lean Tools) that drive labor redeployment efficiencies, OEE improvements and shop floor space gains.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, idea generation, and value analysis to develop and prioritize VAVE pipeline
  • Responsible for quickly adapting to financial gaps through adjusting timing of improvement plans, creating additional improvements, and overall supporting the branch financial plan
  • Maintain a culture of functional and Operational Excellence, supports 5S, lean initiatives and to be a committed role model for our Company’s Beliefs and Behaviors.
  • Adhere to internal and external Business Processes and Certifications synonymous with a large US Incorporation operating within the Automotive Industry
  • Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Lean Management, or similar degree
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in hands-on operational roles in supply chain management, engineering or manufacturing
  • Automotive experience
  • Experience in applying Lean Thinking principles in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in project management
  • Strong understanding of LEAN principles and methodologies and implementing these Knowledge of Six Sigma
  • Ability to develop focused team activities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
