The Quality/ISO Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's quality management system (QMS) in accordance with ISO standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all company processes, products, and services meet established quality benchmarks, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.

 

So, what will you be doing as a Quality/ISO Manager?

 

  • Act as a primary quality contact for suppliers and customers by addressing concerns, inquiries, and technical questions.
  • Investigate, respond to, and document customer complaints, including initiating and managing rod-related complaints.
  • Ensure timely corrective and preventive actions related to customer feedback.
  • Track, analyze, and report statistical quality data across multiple products.
  • Use data-driven insights to support quality improvement and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor and support inventory turnover within the warehouse to align with quality and operational goals.
  • Ensure quality requirements are integrated into daily production and material handling processes.
  • Maintain, inspect, and oversee scheduled maintenance of all quality test and inspection equipment.
  • Coordinate calibration and Measurement Equipment Analysis (MEA) programs and maintain accurate records.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, etc.).
  • Lead internal and external audits, coordinate audit schedules, and facilitate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Establish and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and records in alignment with regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Train and support employees at all levels on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Report on the performance of the QMS to senior management and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in ISO standards and quality management methodologies.
  • Attend scheduled safety meetings and comply with all established safety rules and procedures.
  • Proactively identify and report unsafe working conditions to the Safety Director.

 

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree - in quality management is preferred. 
  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in quality management, with specific expertise in ISO implementation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools, methodologies, and ISO standards.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; adept at training and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to upholding high standards of quality and compliance.

 

Things we consider a plus:

  • Professional certification in quality management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
