So, what will you be doing as a Cleaning House Supervisor/CI?
- Maintain the Cleaning House, Waste-Water Treatment and ARS (Acid Recovery System) areas free from safety and environmental risk, notify branch EHS representative about any unsafe conditions.
- Assure all tank titrations are being conducted correctly and meet specifications with the frequency as outlined.
- Ensure pH verifications and calibrations are performed at a frequency supporting compliance and accurate readings.
- Monitor tank levels, temperatures, concentrations, and take corrective actions when warranted.
- Ensure all required data/records are captured accurately and retained by regulations or document control.
- Coordinate the following: tank dump schedules, removal of waste sludge and land-fill wastes, schedule trucks for spent acid shipments, coordinate the processing of spent sulfuric acid through the ARS system as needed. Work with the branch EHS representative regarding waste manifests.
- Observe overall rod coating and cleaning quality in addition to overseeing needed repairs by issuing work orders as required for the Cleaning House, Waste-Water Treatment and ARS areas.
- Participate in the organization of clean-up activities regarding the outside grounds and outfall areas.
- Maintain a 6S program in the Cleaning House, Waste-Water Treatment and ARS areas.
- Coordinate with Plant Superintendent the scheduling of trained employees during holiday schedules, shutdowns and start-ups, cover scheduled voids. (act as a backup when scheduling conflicts require your presence).
- Collaborate with departments to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
- Collect and analyze data to measure process performance and identify trends.
- Develop action plans and project timelines to address process inefficiencies.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of improvement projects, ensuring objectives are met.
- Train and support employees in continuous improvement tools and techniques.
- Report progress, results, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving.

Things we consider a plus:
- Supervisory background in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (Microsoft Suite, Power BI, and related computer programs
- Experience in process improvement.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
