We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a(n) Inside Sales Representative within our Specialized Products team to help support our Aerospace business.  At L&P Aerospace, we specialize in creating complex tube and duct assemblies using high-performance materials capable of withstanding extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical interactions. How high are our quality standards, you ask? So much so, that we have products on-board the Space Launch System with NASA, as well as the F-15 and F-35 fighter jets! If you join our team, your work will ensure families across the world fly a little safe, wherever their travels may take them.

 

As a(n) Inside Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by acting as the “voice of the customer”.  The team you will be working with is hard-working, collaborative, and values providing efficient customer care

 

Pay Range: $32.00/hr. - $35.00/hr.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday/Full time/40 hours per week

So, what will you be doing as a(n) Inside Sales Representative?

  • Facilitate customer resolution of delivery or manufacturing issues; engage appropriate departments, make recommendations on appropriate response, and communicate resolution to customers
  • Provide thorough sales assistance to the customer, including generating quotes, obtaining feedback from customers, submitting orders, and serving as the point of contact of for customers on open orders throughout the production cycle.
  • Manage customer inquiries.
  • Work well in a team and promote a positive working relationship with co-workers and customers.
  • Identify activities to continually improve the process of providing innovative and efficient customer care.
  • Support the group's business development team lead role as the strategic point of contact for customers

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in sales or customer support for a manufacturing and/or aerospace manufacturing company is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain effective relationships with diverse audience ranging from staff and customers
  • Excellent phone, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
