HRIS Specialist

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking to hire a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Specialist to work with our corporate human resources team located in Carthage, Missouri.  This role will provide support in the development, implementation, and operation of the global HR technology priorities at Leggett & Platt.  As the HRIS Specialist, this position will partner with functional and technical teams to optimize systems, automate HR processes, and deliver high priority HR technology solutions for the company.

 

This role is located in Carthage, MO with remote work as a possibility.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall HRIS system maintenance, performance and support, including technical support, troubleshooting, testing updates, and system training to end users
  • Manage permissions, access, personalization, system settings and similar system operations
  • Serve as a liaison between HR, information technology, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS projects
  • Work closely with other subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
  • Perform HR system testing for system implementations, upgrades, patches, and enhancements
  • Create appropriate user documentation and procedures and assist in managing new system implementations
  • Facilitate organizational & process changes, collaborating with corporate and local HR professionals as well as providing communication, training, and execution on projects
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, or a related field of study
  • At least 3+ years HR Systems experience that includes working in a technical support capacity in a SaaS or Cloud environment
  • Prior experience with HR technology projects or HCM implementations strongly preferred
  • General working knowledge of all HR disciplines (benefits, recruiting, compensation, learning, talent, and time tracking) is critical to success in this role

 

Nice To Have:

  • Extensive experience working with Time & Attendance and payroll systems is a plus
