POSITION SUMMARY (Objective/Purpose of Position):

Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Key RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality, Delivery, Safety, Efficiency  Mico: Weekly labor efficiencies.

 

Major Actions and Support Actions

1.

Evaluate Product Line Loads.

2.

Assuring schedule completion daily: Challenge: Non-forecasted production environment.

3.

Interact with customer service, materials and production to address capacity and lead time concerns.

4.

Recommend capacity changes with customers.  

5.

Working with cross functional teams to solve production impediments.

6.

Material planning for production cells.

7.

Schedule job dates to match required run rates within cells.

8.

Coordinating transportation and expediting materials on a daily basis.

 

 

Educational requirements, Certifications:

  • N/A

 

Experience:

  • Prior, in-depth experience with planning/scheduling.
  • Manufacturing/Furniture Production experience. 1-3 years preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
