As a Logistics Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work with suppliers and customers to move, store and manage bulk chemical shipments on six different continents.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by helping to deliver unique chemicals to foam and bedding companies worldwide to manufacture the high-quality comfort products we design and believe in.  The team you will be working with is efficient, detail orientated and collaborative, and values customer and vendor relationships and excellence of work. 

 

So, what will you be doing as a Logistics Coordinator?

  • Coordinating the shipment and distribution of products through manufacturing, warehouses, and terminals.
  • Tracking shipments, communicating with service providers, assisting customers, and resolving shipment issues and complaints.
  • Preparing and maintaining shipping paperwork, records, and digital databases.
  • Managing costs related to logistics activities and liaising with service providers.
  • Monitoring inventory levels, adjusting forecasts based on usage changes.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • 2-5 years of previous experience in closely related field.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and manage deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Things we consider a plus:

  • Experience with overseas shipments and bulk chemical storage
  • A degree in logistics or related field
