Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (This description is a general statement of required major
duties and responsibilities performed on a regular and continual basis. It does not exclude other
duties that may be assigned.) o Check delivery schedule and receive assignment from supervisor. (Starting times will vary
with occasional overnight runs.)
o Drive tractor-trailer to assigned destination. Some destinations will require caution and good
driving skills because of limited space and heavy traffic.
o Back trailers into dock or unloading area as instructed by the customer.
o Unload product to dock or per customer’s instructions.
o Fill out delivery ticket recording, indicating how much was delivered and acquiring customer
signature.
o Perform daily vehicle inspection as required by DOT regulations and record findings in a log
book.
o Check oil, fuel, tires, batteries, etc. on vehicle and report any defects to supervisor.
o Maintain a driver’s log book as required by DOT regulations. (If delivery is over 100 miles)
o Assist in the loading and unloading of trailers when needed.
o Must have complete DOT file on record per company policy.
o Must pass a DOP physical prior to hire and repeat annually.
o Perform duties in a courteous and professional manner.
o Perform housekeeping duties in the work area.
o Perform other duties as assigned.
Shipping and Receiving Operations
o Load outgoing trucks and pull finished goods tags.
o Assist Lead Person with inventory.
Complete daily forklift inspection to include filling out required paperwork.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Education & Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age to perform this job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed

Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• No educational requirements
• Valid CDL Drivers License required.
• 2 years of previous driving experience.
• Driver’s License – Class A (CDL) with doubles endorsement – Must have a clear DMV
record.
• Follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
• Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; Maintains a clean and organized
work environment.
• Quantity - Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to
increase productivity.
• Safety - Observes all safety procedures and policies; Reports potentially unsafe
conditions to supervisor; Uses equipment and materials properly.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to work accurately from verbal and written instructions.
