We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Vice President Branding, Marketing & Communications within our Executive team to help support our Automotive business. That’s right! Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Motors, Actuators and Massage Systems. The Vice President Branding, Marketing & Communications will be a key strategic leader, a visionary responsible for shaping and amplifying the company’s brand identity, market presence and global communications.
As the Vice President Branding, Marketing & Communications, you will:
- Lead, coach and develop global Marketing & Communication team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability and continuous improvement. Serve as a brand ambassador for the company.
- Design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that are aligned with our business goals and brand positioning that differentiates L&P in the supply chain ecosystem. Build credible marketing strategy cases considering necessary commercial and technical aspects and ensure they are executed successfully, meeting financial commitments.
- Manage, build, and drive market expansion. Build new business and continue to expand and create a customer centric approach with existing customers. Ensure they are being served globally, working closely with Global Sales. Support product launches.
- Responsible for all internal and external marketing, communication, and promotion for all products in Automotive.
- Partner with internal and external teams to evaluate automotive OEM’s technical requirements offering innovative marketing tools and solutions based on our client’s roadmap.
- Manage global marketing projects, support trade shows, events, and congresses. Ensuring campaigns are integrated across Digital, print, events and tradeshows.
- Manage the global marketing budget, agency relationships and performance metrics.
- Lead internal and external communications, including media relations, crisis communications and executive messaging, ensure consistent and compelling storytelling across all channels and geographies.
To be successful, you’ll need:
- Master's Degree in Marketing and Commuications, Business Administration or Engineering with an emphasis on product marketing
- 15+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Communications, Consulting, or Product Management, with progressively increasing responsibilities and with experience preferably in mid-size automotive (Tier1/Tier2)
- International leadership experience operating in a geographically and culturally diverse platform
- Proven experience within a leadership or senior management role
- Proven track record of dealing with multicultural workforces
- Experience in partnering closely with sales leadership and a measurable, mathematical understanding of the connection between demand generation and revenue growth.
- Experience in designing, building and optimizing websites, social pages.
