We, at Leggett Dynamics, are searching for a Finance Business Partner to help support our Automotive business. The Finance Business Partner (FBP) serves as the primary financial advisor to the Global Engineering leadership team.
This role is responsible for driving financial transparency, resource optimization, investment decisions, and strategic planning across global engineering operations, ensuring alignment between technology investments and business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure engineering HC, CAPEX and OPEX are planned, controlled, and aligned with company priorities.
2. Provide financial insights that enable better business and engineering decisions.
3. Drive operational excellence through data-driven performance measurement.
4. Ensure engineering resources are focused on high-value activities.
5. Provide clear and actionable financial insights across all engineering functions.
6. Enable sustainable growth while maintaining financial discipline.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred
Experience:
Finance Business Partner, FP&A, Engineering Controlling, or R&D Finance experience
Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, technology, or engineering-intensive industry experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Strong financial planning & analysis (FP&A) expertise.
Ability to influence senior engineering leaders.
Understanding of engineering, R&D, and product development environments.
Advanced financial modeling and business case development.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
