Supply Chain Coordinator

We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Supply Chain Coordinator within our Supply Chain team to help support our Furniture Hardware business.

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction by managing procurement, inventory control, and supplier performance. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring timely delivery, cost competitiveness, and seamless collaboration across functions. The team you will be working with is collaborative, innovative, and close-knit, and values problem-solving, diversity of thought, and continuous improvement.

So, what will you be doing as a Supply Chain Coordinator?

• Analyze and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Manage the purchasing process, including supplier performance and cost competitiveness.
• Provide customer service support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate new product launches in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role; 5–10 years of total relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain concepts and MRP systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to work independently under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.

Things we consider a plus:

• Associate’s degree in a business-related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Understanding of contracts and terms & conditions.
