The Operation Buyer is accountable to provide support to Operations with issues related to external supplies and will suppliers and will support the category teams with the implementation of strategy initiatives. The Operational Buyer is also accountable to support operations with indirect procurment needs, which are not covered by regional indirect procurment contracts. 

Major Actions and Support Actions:

a) Reponsible for the implementataion of regional Indirect contracts (negotiated by Regional Indirect Procurment Managers) within the Branch(s), and responsible for all indirect purchases not covered by regional contracts.

b) Manage  ommercials aspects (negotiation & Implementation) of engineering changes impacting seral production parts (post Phase 5 sing off) from external suppliers.

c) Support the Category Management team in the implementation of strategy or productivity initiatives

d) Responsible for Supplier Performance Management (Quality, Cost, Delivery) with the Commodity Manager

e) Provide the Procurment input to the Supplier Score Card, for their Branch

f) First level of Branch escalation to the Procurment Organization for support with external supplier related issues

g) Perform Serial price changes upload/updates. initiate and monitor the accuracy of the prices maintained in the plant ERP within serial product life.
