As a(n) Transactions Paralegal you will have the opportunity to work with employees at all levels at all locations.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by reviewing and preparing contracts that reflect the overall profitability of the company.  The team you will be working with is collaborative, and values continuous improvement. 

 

So, what will you be doing as a(n) Transactions Paralegal?

  • Assist in drafting, filing and follow-up on corporate contracts
  • Coordinate and support contract review by internal and external counsel and internal subject matter experts
  • Assist with due diligence on Mergers & Acquisition projects
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining M&A documents and project organization and reporting
  • Support general Contractual and M&A-based projects
  • Research, analysis, and application of applicable transactional laws
  • Review invoices from outside counsel and other service providers
  • Assist with budgeting and expense tracking
  • Provide general administrative support to the attorneys in the Transactions Group
  • Identify opportunities to use technology and AI to facilitate contract and M&A work
  • Work proactively to improve contract and legal billing process
  • Opening, closing and managing files in matter management software

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Outstanding level of organization
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Protect confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

 

Things we consider a plus:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Accounting or financial background
