We, at Leggett Dynamics are searching for a Team Leader Maitenance within our Maintenance team to help support our Automotive business. As a Team Leader Maintenance you will be acting as front line supervisor for night shift in the Maintenance department. The Team Leader Maintenance is responsible for maintaining branch's equipment and ensure efficiency and availability of machines while accomplishing spare parts budget.
Tasks description
- Directs and coordinates activities of employees/subcontractors engaged in mechanical, electrical and facility repair as directed by Maintenance/Facility Manager.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance/Facility Manager and Manufacturing Manager to understand equipment status and develop maintenance priorities and backups
- Ensures the execution of all preventative maintenance activities on time and to schedule; including the development of Maintenance Technicians scheduling to support daily operations and priorities.
- Forecasts and follows up the spare parts inventory and consumption.
- Supports during the development and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Supports EHS Manager to ensure compliance of equipment to legal and safety programs and understand all EHS policies to ensure a safe work environment for all staff.
- Drives continuous improvement activities to support OEE, IPPM, Scrap, Downtime, and other metrics while maintaining 5S standards.
- Completes any other assignments, duties or projects that may be assigned
Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Ability
- University degree or College diploma or Journeymen Millwrights/Electricians with appropriate experience and education
- 5 years or more working experience in ISO/TS16949 automotive lean manufacturing environment
- Multiple years maintenance experience
- Mechanical/technical competency and ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams
- Knowledge of CMMS or maintenance planning software
- Programing experience for PLC systems
- Industrial robots programming and maintenance experience
- Well developed organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to supervise work of other technicians
