As a Senior Sales Manager you will have the opportunity to provide services to key advanced sales accounts and to maintain and increase future sales, while ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for a customer unit and may have direct reports - Sales Coordinator and Account Manager.
 

So, what will you be doing as a Sr. Sales Manager?

-Manages the company's or product line's sales activities, including advanced sales activity. Negotiates program
contracts for award. Calls on key accounts to establish & cultivate relationships, identify opportunities and increase
sales.

-Oversees & manages professional growth & success of Sales Coordinators and Account Manager's contribution to
the sales team and the organization.

-Represents products/services requiring technical product knowledge/performance features to specific accounts
and provides ongoing service and follow up.

-Participates in quote reviews, identify areas that need improvement for quote presentation to customer.

-port feedback from customer regarding product quality, customer service, overall performance and reasons for
won/lost opportunities.

-Oversees the content in all sales reporting - SPA, Sales Headlines, 3-month updates, Sales Plan, NBO's & NBA's

-Reports on and keeps informed of any and all competitor activities.

-Participates in the NA sales contribution to MBR and Leadership related activities as necessary.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

-College Diploma in Business or University Degree

-5+ years relative experience, automotive/lean manufacturing preferred and people management

-Strong technical knowledge of product & manufacturing systems
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Excellent written & verbal communication skills
-Knowledge of Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word
