So, what will you be doing as a Purchasing Specialist II?
- Complying with the company’s policy and procedure manual
- Tracking intra‑company purchased finished goods
- Working with intra‑company branches on deliveries
- Verifying intra‑company purchases and following up on orders
- Verifying intra‑company purchases are received correctly
- Verifying that shipments are scanned in correctly
- Coordinating weekly with the Cintas representative regarding any changes and assisting employees with uniform issues
- Reviewing and processing uniform invoices for payment and maintaining all uniform reports
- Matching exceptions, researching, and clearing mismatched receivers
- Keying purchase orders for finished goods and miscellaneous items
- Reviewing accrued purchases and resolving issues
- Handling various vendor issues in D365 (such as address changes, taxability issues, etc.)
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize job responsibilities.
- Ability to ten-key efficiently in addition to performing mathematical functions necessary to perform the job.
- Ability to contain confidential information and records in a professional manner.
- Show previous experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Show enthusiasm and helpfulness when handling phone calls and ability to function multiple phone lines.
- Ability to exemplify a cooperative attitude necessary to work with all department and management teams.
- Bi-lingual skills a plus.
