We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Material Handling within our Customer Service/Logistics team to help support our business. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a Material Handling you will be responsble to ensure proper storage of all goods and materials as well as correct system bookings at all times and responsible to ensure no downtime is caused by missing material.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for trouble free unloading & loading of goods complying to all relevant safety rules.
- Responsible for correct labelling, freight preparation (commissioning) and storing in the warehouse (correct location).
- Responsible for in timeline supply of raw material and dispatch of FG from production line into WIP or FG Warehouse with implemented system (KANBAN, production order...).
- Responsible for correct transfer bookings in the system
- Ensure permanent compliance of used equipment to regulator and L&P requirements.
- Ensure adequate supply of prepared empty packaging for production.
- Responsible for waste disposal.
- Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business.
Education, Experience, Skills
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in the logistics area
- Experienced in working with scanning systems
- Forklift driving license
- Internal training related to internal procedures and processes
- Accurate working style
- Good working skills in MS Office
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 4:45 pm to 3:15 am
