HRIS Manager

Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking to hire a Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager to work with our corporate human resources team located in Carthage, Missouri.  This role will help manage the development, implementation, and operation of the global HR technology priorities at Leggett & Platt.  As the HRIS manager, this position will partner with functional and technical teams to optimize systems, automate HR processes, and deliver high priority HR technology solutions for the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of the company’s HR information systems
     
  • Direct and maintain both a short-term and long-term comprehensive technology plan to address operational and strategic HR and business needs
     
  • Work with team members to understand business requirements and identify opportunities to optimize and enhance processes through technology

 

  • Partner with HR, IT, and businesses to define processes and create/administer structural policy matters related to HRIS and HR data, including the input and maintenance of employee and organizational data
     
  • Manage system reporting, security, permissions, and data integrity
     
  • Serve as HRIS subject matter expert; establishing processes, training employees and creating process guides for managers on various HR processes

 

  • Provide project management leadership and change activities to ensure internal readiness  

 

  • Provide technical expertise, support, troubleshooting, and guidance to help diagnose and resolve complex technical issues

 

  • Ensure employee data management practices are compliant with global data privacy regulations
     
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications

 

Qualifications and Skills:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology/Systems, or a related field of study
     
  • 7+ years of experience in HR business processes and systems or related experience, including at least 2+ years leading a team
     
  • Strong project management experience, including HCM implementation and administration experience
     
  • Experience working with global payroll systems
     
  • Strong critical and strategic thinking skills, with an action-oriented mindset
     
  • HRIS and PMP training/certifications
     
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high growth environment
