Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking an HR Intern to support our L&P Automotive team in Carthage, Missouri. If you are looking for experience engaging with people and learning about the processes and procedures that a local HR team supports, then this may be the role for you!

What you’ll be doing: 

  • Tracking PPT and overseeing the request process 

  • Managing bulk mailing processes 

  • Tracking attendance and sending warnings 

  • Updating signage around the facilities 

  • Supporting the hiring and onboarding processes for hourly workers 

  • Tracking newly hired referrals to correspond with the employee referral program 

  • Supporting the HR function with additional projects as needed 


A few things you’ll need: 

  • To be in the pursuit of a 4-year business degree 

  • Experience with at least one HR class 


Things we consider a plus: 

  • Majoring in Human Resources Management or a related field 

  • GPA of at least 3.0 

  • Organizational skills 

  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
