Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking to hire a Bilingual Human Resources Assistant to provide a variety of duties that support the overall administration of Branch One’s Human Resource programs while providing support to the Branch One Mission and Vision.

 

What you'll be doing

 

• Providing assistance to employment and recruitment processes.

• Participating in or supporting all job postings, advertising, interviewing, selection, and orientation processes.

• Assisting in scheduling pre-and post-employment processes including, drug screens, physicals, and candidate notifications.

• Setting up new hires in computer. 

• Conducting new hire orientation.

• Conducting monthly posting process.

• Assisting with inputting and transmittal of all employee changes.

• Assisting with completion and distribution of paperwork for terminations.

• Creating payroll scan badges.

• Answering benefit inquiries from employees.

• Assisting with payroll reports and inputting tardies and absences.

• Assisting employees with Paid Personal Time off requests.

• Assisting with ensuring new employees complete their I-9 process on hire date and inputting the employer’s portion and submitting to Equifax.

• Assisting in entering all discipline into the appropriate database.

• Reviewing quarterly and yearly perfect attendance.

• Completing physical inventory as needed.

• Assisting with input of Shared Work Program.

• Interpretting and translating documents for all members of management and Spanishspeaking employees when needed.

• Assisting with marketing/advertising.

• Providing administrative support to the HR department.

 

What we are looking for

 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Must possess good communication skills (oral and written) in both, English and Spanish.

• Must possess good computer skills in Microsoft office programs.

• Knowledgeable of the manufacturing process used by the company.

• Ability to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality, professionalism and assistance when handling employee issues.

• Ability to exemplify a cooperative attitude necessary to work with all departments and management teams.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize job responsibilities.

• Knowledge of policies, procedures, payroll process and benefits.
