As a Bilingual Employment Coordinator you will have the opportunity to help recruit our hourly manufacturing employees.  Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by keeping our team staffed and our facilities up and running.  The team you will be working with is communicative, supportive, and values being open and supportive of each other. 

So, what will you be doing as a Bilingual Employment Coordinator?

  • Provide leadership and assistance to employment and recruitment processes for filling production related positions with internal and external candidates due to attrition, promotions, and transfers.
  • Participate in or support all functions pertaining to hiring and placement for approved positions and promotions consisting of job posting, advertising, interviewing, selection, and orientation.
  • Collaborate with hiring manager(s) in their decision-making regarding entire hiring process and approve/recommend final decisions.
  • Monitor critical pre and post-employment processes including job offers, drug screens, physicals, and candidate notifications.
  • Evaluate recruiting and interviewing processes and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Ensure HR procedures and employee documents are in compliance with legal and government regulations.
  • Coordinate the new hire orientation which includes preparing new hire orientation training schedule and assisting with welcoming activities.
  • Collaborate with management for placement of temporary workers to coordinate employment and administrative support for temporary team members. Maintain employment related information for potential onboarding of temporary team members.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department; assist with all aspects of records retention.
  • Serve as a resource for the management and staff of Branch One, ensuring that all inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures are answered. Responsible for conducting internal investigations of employees concerns as needed.
  • Interpret and translate documents for all members of management and Spanish-speaking employees when needed.
  • Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process for Branch One.
  • In addition, the Bilingual Employment Coordinator performs any other tasks related to the operation of the Branch as directed by the Human Resources Manager.  This position may require occasional overtime and travel.

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum three years’ experience working in a Human Resources Department
  • Or Bachelor’s degree with no experience required.
  • Must possess good communication skills (oral and written) in both, English and Spanish.
  • Must possess good computer skills in Microsoft office programs, LPCS or any additional electronic programs.
  • Demonstrate a general knowledge of employment laws and practices.
  • Knowledgeable of the manufacturing process used by the company.
  • Ability to understand all positions within Branch One.
  • Must be able to maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality, professionalism and assistance when handling employee issues.
  • Possess the ability to work effectively with others and be a team member.
