Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking an Account Coordinator for our Adjustable Bed division. In this role you will get to support one of our largest customers by working directly with their supply and logistics teams to better understand forecasting and demand needs. What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with customers regarding upcoming forecast and promotions
  • Collecting and communicating demand intelligence from customers that will be used to create the Demand Plan
  • Reviewing incoming shipments with customers to ensure timely delivery and assisting with delivery modifications
  • Reviewing orders, forecast accuracy and servicing topics with customer weekly
  • Assisting customers by responding to daily inquiries regarding orders, warranty requests and other topics
  • Creating and maintaining monthly presentation to review forecast performance, upcoming demand, incoming inventory, product changes, warranty reports and other topics with the customer

 

A few things you’ll need:

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in cross functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A deep understanding of metrics, reporting tools, and data structures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to be a self-starter and work in groups or alone on projects
  • Ability to align forward vision and proactively seek solutions to achieve vision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite Products

 

Things we consider a plus:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in General Business, Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
