POSITION SUMMARY (Objective/Purpose of Position):

Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet consistent quality standards. This role involves developing and implementing quality control systems, monitoring performance, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

 

Major Actions and Support Actions

Determine the quality issues of suppliers' incoming materials, supervise and implement supplier quality management, and improve the quality of incoming materials.

Responsible for analyzing and diagnosing internal quality issues, and promptly handling, coordinating, and resolving any product quality problems to ensure the smooth operation of business activities

- Coordinate the handling of quality issues arising from customer complaints, coordinate the submission of corrective and preventive measures reports and track and record their implementation.

- Track, record, organize, and analyze various testing and experiments; responsible for coordinating and supervising quality improvement activities to ensure effective implementation.

- Preparation and review of relevant documents.

- Collection, organization, and reporting of quality cost data.

Assist relevant departments in the return and exchange of goods.

Establish, improve, maintain and improve the quality management system.

Hold meetings related to the quality management system and organize supervision and inspection of the implementation of agreed matters.

- Take appropriate actions to prevent any non-conformities related to products, processes and/or systems.

- Identify and / or record any issues with products, processes and management systems.

- Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.

- Validate implementation of the solution.

- Control the further handling, delivery, or installation of non-conforming products until the defect or non-conformance is corrected.

Leadership: Lead and mentor the quality team.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Managing quality control systems, conducting audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in multiple areas of quality management, such as inspection, testing, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in managing quality-related projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation, is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with international quality standards and regulations can be a significant asset.
