POSITION SUMMARY (Objective/Purpose of Position):

Sr. Procurement Analyst must have good professional qualities and work habits, and provide complete work and services in accordance with customer expectations and requirements.

 

Major Actions and Support Actions

1.Resolutely obey the unified command of superiors, conscientiously implement their work instructions, and be responsible to superiors for all management behaviors;

2.Strictly abide by the company's various rules and regulations;

3.Actively committed to the implementation and continuous improvement

4.Implement departmental rules and regulations, and implement procurement management processes and standards according to the company's prescribed procedures

5.Based on demand forecasts, production capacity, inventory status, and actual sales trends, formulate production plans and material requirements plans

6.Supervise and inspect the implementation of production plans

7.Implement purchase orders according to production demand plan, and issue and urge materials

8.Regularly evaluate and assess procurement operations and supplier performance based on collected procurement data, promptly formulate supply improvement strategies, and implement them to continuously enhance supply capabilities

9.Make suggestions for improvements in the company's management

10.Take appropriate actions to prevent any non-conformities related to products, processes and / or systems

 

Educational requirements, Certifications:

Educational Background: College diploma (or above)

Experience: 5 years or more of experience in material control or procurement

 

Experience:

  1. Agree with the leadership and values of Leggett & Platt;
  2. Educational Background: College diploma (or above);
  3. Training experience: Be familiar with computer operation, be able to operate Scala system after training, and has received professional training in procurement and planning;
  4. Experience: 5 years or more of experience in material control or procurement;
  5. Skill:
    1. Good command of English in speaking, listening, reading, and writing; proficiency in Chinese is a plus;
    2. Possess certain professional technical capabilities in hardware stamping parts, plastic parts, standard parts, steel, molds, etc.
    3. Possess ability to identify professional engineering drawings;
    4. Possess good interpersonal skills and communicate well with suppliers and related departments;
    5. Have team spirit and be able to collaborate effectively with management and colleagues;
    6. Possess good crisis management skills;
